The Global Development Currency RAAM of Maharishi's Global Country of World Peace is in circulation in the European Union as the RAAM EUROPE, and is exchangeable for a fixed rate of 10 Euros per RAAM EUROPE at, for one, the Roermond, Netherlands branch of Fortis Bank, one of the 20 largest financial institutions in Europe. The RAAM has also been circulating in the USA and can be exchanged at Maharishi Vedic City, Iowa. The circulation of the RAAM will serve as an inspiration for countries to use the RAAM as a catalyst in the field of economy, enabling development projects to start. The RAAM has been launched within the framework of the programme of Maharishi's Global Country of World Peace to promote affluence and world peace, and to bring together individual chambers of agriculture, industry and commerce in cities and countries throughout the world in a Global Chamber of Commerce in order to increase unity through economic development, in spite of political differences.
